About Robbie
(The Author’s Story)
Robbie Morgan is a 76‑year‑old retired farmer whose life has been shaped by faith, perseverance, and a quiet love for words. Though he began writing later in life, his journey as an author was sparked years earlier when he penned a heartfelt letter to his mother during her battle with cancer—a moment that revealed the power of honest, Spirit‑led expression.
In 2015, Robbie published his first book, Solo Time, a reflection on the importance of solitude in cultivating a personal relationship with God. Now, with his second book, Getting to Know the God I Never Knew, he invites everyday Christians to move beyond religion and discover a deeper, more intimate walk with their Creator.
Robbie’s writing is simple yet profound, blending the grounded wisdom of a farmer with the spiritual insight of a lifelong believer. Influenced by teachers such as A.W. Tozer, Michael Eaton, and Derek Prince, his words carry both humility and conviction. Whether in prose or poetry, Robbie writes with the hope that his work will resonate with ordinary believers, encouraging them to trust God’s timing and draw closer to Him.
His life—both in the fields and at the writing desk—stands as a testament to the enduring power of faith, perseverance, and the God who meets us in the everyday.

About the book
(Getting to know the God I never Knew)
This book is for every Christian who has ever longed for more than routine religion. Robbie writes for those who want to experience God personally, not just know about Him. His words are simple, heartfelt, and rooted in a lifetime of faith and perseverance.
Within its pages, readers will discover encouragement to build a deeper relationship with God, hope for seasons when faith feels distant, and gentle reminders that His timing is always perfect.
“I never set out to be a writer; I only set out to know God. The words came as a gift along the way.”
“The only way I can describe Robbie and his book “Getting to Know the God I never knew” is out of the scriptures of Acts 4:13. Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John and perceived that they were uneducated and untrained men, they marvelled. And they realized they had been with Jesus. Robbie, like Peter, has met the person Jesus. We need to hear the message in his heart.”

Gavin Lloyd
Gavin, Arthur, George Lloyd, for me, has another name when it comes to friendship – Barnabas.
“I have had the privilege of getting to know Robbie for the last fifteen years and it is his love for the Lord and his pursuit of intimacy with the one he came to know has drawn my heart to him over these years. You will be greatly blessed by putting some time aside to read a book by someone who has discovered the love of a gracious and merciful God”

Chris Liebenberg
Christopher, whose friendship is a great encouragement to me.

Robbie Wardle

Brendan Boyce
